1. Information We Collect

Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google.

Career Profile Data. You may voluntarily provide your current and target GS level, federal agency, security clearance level, and education history. This data is used exclusively to personalize your experience.

Practice Data. We collect your practice session responses, AI scores, session duration, and progress metrics to power the Career Score algorithm and study analytics.

Usage Data. We automatically collect device type, browser, IP address, pages visited, and feature interactions to improve platform performance and user experience.

Payment Information. Payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. We receive only the last four digits, card brand, and billing address for receipt purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Personalize your interview preparation based on target agency, GS level, and career stage
  • Generate AI-powered answer scoring and feedback using the STAR framework
  • Calculate and track your Career Score (0–1000)
  • Power the USAJOBS Analyzer to compare your profile against job announcements
  • Send transactional emails (confirmations, receipts, password resets) from noreply@fedreadyos.ai
  • Send product updates and feature announcements (with opt-out available)
  • Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the platform
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with data brokers.

3. Data Storage and Security

All data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and in transit using TLS 1.3. Our database uses row-level security (RLS) policies ensuring users can only access their own data. Authentication uses zero-trust architecture with optional multi-factor authentication.

Our infrastructure is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud providers with automatic backups, DDoS protection, and 99.9% uptime SLA. We conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

4. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. We will provide this within 30 days of your request.
  • Right to Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. You may also request deletion by emailing us. All data is permanently removed within 30 days.
  • Right to Portability: You can request an export of your data in a machine-readable format (JSON). This includes your career profile, practice history, scores, and professional development log.
  • Right to Correction: You can update or correct your personal information at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
  • Right to Opt Out: You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time. Transactional emails (receipts, security alerts) cannot be opted out of while your account is active.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate FedReadyOS. We share only the minimum data required for each service to function:

  • SupabaseAuthentication, database, and file storage
  • Anthropic (Claude)AI answer scoring, USAJOBS analysis, and question generation
  • StripePayment processing and subscription management
  • VercelApplication hosting and edge delivery

Each provider processes data according to their own privacy policy and terms. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. You can manage cookie preferences through the consent banner displayed on your first visit.
