1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FedReadyOS (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. FedReadyOS reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

FedReadyOS is an AI-powered career preparation platform designed for federal government professionals. The Service includes interview practice with AI scoring, Career Score tracking, USAJOBS announcement analysis, GS salary calculation, promotion timeline projection, and professional development tracking. The Service is provided for educational and career preparation purposes only. AI-generated content does not constitute professional career advice, legal guidance, or a guarantee of employment outcomes.

3. Subscription and Billing

FedReadyOS offers tiered subscription plans billed monthly or annually. All paid plans include a 7-day free trial with full platform access. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless canceled. Prices are displayed in US dollars and may be updated with 30 days' notice. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to paid features until then. FedReadyOS does not issue refunds for partial billing periods.

If you believe you were charged in error or experienced an accidental charge, contact billing@fedreadyos.ai within 48 hours of the charge for a full review. Eligible accidental charges will be refunded in full.

5. Acceptable Use

You may use FedReadyOS for personal career development and interview preparation. You agree not to:

• Share, redistribute, or resell your account access
• Use the platform to generate content for automated systems or bots
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose

Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, AI models, question banks, scoring algorithms, and branding on FedReadyOS are the property of FedReadyOS and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your practice responses, career profile data, and professional development logs remain your property. We claim no ownership over content you create on the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

FedReadyOS is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. FedReadyOS does not guarantee that use of the Service will result in employment, promotion, or any specific career outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FedReadyOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
